Travel Journals of Matt & Mary Capps

second night in Rome

We wear up early that morning, went down to breakfast at the hotel then went out into the city again. At this point we were seasoned travelers, so we decided we would navigate through the Roman subway. It was not near as big as the Paris subway and it was very easy to find our way to the center of old Rome. We walked up the steps and out of the subway station and the first thing we seen was the coliseum.

We spent most of the morning there I must of taken at least 30 pictures. Then we ventured up the palatine hill then walked down the street until we came across circus Massimo. If you have ever seen the movie Ben Her you will know what I am talking about. When I thought about Rome this was what I imagined.

After making our way back to the hotel we went shopping, then made it back in time to be picked up for our night time tour of Rome, and a fantastic dinner where the waiters would sing to you. I think this was our best night in Rome.

Trevie fountains where pretty cool.

If you through one coin in over your shoulder it was for love

If you through in a second coin it was for a wish to come back to Rome

If you through in a third coin it was for divorce.

Mary made sure I stopped at two.

This guy could really sing.

Al mozer should open up a restraint like this

They did such a great job I bought the C.D.
