January page!
This web page shows the general progress that was made on the construction of the new store in the month of January. Work was done in all kinds of weather, it ranged from 60o and sunny to 25o and snow blowing. We lost only 4 days to the weather.
Randy wittman finally finished up the concrete
Federal steel starts on the west wall
wednesday January 5th
No work was done it rained all day
Steel columns go up on north and south walls
Steel roof beams go up from the west wall
Heavy fog rolls in but the work continues on.

Friday January 14th 2005 no work was done Cold and snow
Monday January 17th 2005 no work was done cold and more snow
Tuesday January 18th 2005 some work was done but we could not see any thing different on the building
.....Bringing in the water from the south.
Installing a fire hydrant along with the 6" water line.
Dan comes out to inspect the construction.
Dan and Ida came out late in the afternoon after all of the workers were done for the day.
More steel studs go up.
Chuck updike and his crew was out on the job site today, having fun in the mud.
