On October 29th 2010 I loaded up my lights and cameras and went
to a old house in Jerseyville Illinois to record séance.
This was not going to be just another Halloween party, nor would
it be some kind of joke or elaborate hoax. I was going to witness
as you will through the lens of my cameras a proper séance.
This is going to be a determined effort to contact people in the
after life.
Al Mozier and Guitar Terry agreed to host the show. Al and terry
had some experience working with me as the hosted last years Halloween
special Ghost Hunt. They were the first to arrive.
Soon after that the rest of the participants, guests, and other
important dignitary who would take part in this experiment in
the supernatural also arrived.
We had 8 people in all, who agreed to set down at the table and
participative in the actual séance. Plus another 10 or
12 people who stood in a adjoining room to witness it.
3 of the participants were from Calhoun County Paranormal. These
ladies’s had lots of experiences in dealing with the paranormal,
and they brought equipment and scientific instruments that would
detect and record evidence of any paranormal activity.
But before the séance would begin, first I interview all
of the participants in the séance and asked them what they
thought might happen tonight.
We also opened up a bottle of wine and every one got to know one
another before we started. The mood was positive, the atmosphere
was electric, and every one was excited to start the séance.
Jersey County Fair Pageant is currently in postproduction.
Video was shot on July 13th 2011. We used 3 cameras for this show.
2 JVC HDD hard drive cameras and one older Samsung dv tape camera.
It was an out door show with several hundred people attending
the pageant. The weather was dry and warm but not to hot. The
sun began to set at the end of the little miss pageant in which
we took advantage of the exhalent light coming from the summer
sun set.
Next up was the Jr Miss pageant. The ladies that participated
in this portion of the pageant done a very fine job. They all
looked really nice, and the crowd was more than delighted.
Finally the Sr. Miss contestants came out under the stars and
gave the large crowd a nice show and plenty of attention.
