Bali’s beach Gigolos
Strange Bathroom

Featured Video Presentation

Bali is known for its warm clement, expensive resorts, and white sandy beaches. But in resent years Bali is also getting a reputation for it’s beach gigolos, who scout for foreign female tourists who want to have a good time.

In fact a documentary trailer was released just last week detailing the beach boys who participate in what has become to be known sex tourism. But just one day after the trailer was released Indonesian police cracked down on the beach surfers who participate in this business.

The documentary on Bali’s “Kuta Cowboys” is about muscular and tanned Kuta beach surfers who develop short-term romantic relationships with foreign women in return for gifts. The documentary follows the trials and tribulations of several beach boys, their families, and their female patrons. The documentary is called “Cowboys in Paradise”

However the director did not anticipate on the police crack down. 28 people were detained just this week.

The documentary's Singapore-based director, Amit Virmani, said he found the arrests deplorable.
"A witch hunt for men with tanned and muscular bodies on the beach is the last thing anybody wants," he said.
Wijaya said the raids were part of routine checks and not linked to the documentary, but local media reported that security officials were targeting tanned and muscular men.
"As has been reported, gigolos have indeed been rounded up," Putu Suardika, a spokesman for the governor of Bali, said in a telephone text message to Reuters.
.Virmani said he believed the beach gigolo phenomena was not unique to Bali, which is also known for its Hindu temples, volcanoes, and terraced rice fields.

Ok here is a story about a strange and unusual public bathroom located in Huston Texas. In the picture posted above you can see a lady getting ready to walk into what looks like a glass mirrored building. But it is not. It is a public bathroom. The picture below is a view from the inside of the bath room.

Looking at this public bathroom from the inside shows that it is made entirely out of one way glass. No one can see you from the out side but when you are inside it is like sitting in a clear glass box.

Could you? Would you use this public restroom? I don’t know about you but it would be a little difficult to focus on what you are doing. How ever if you got to go, you’ve got a place to do your business. As long as it works.

Danger high voltage
TNT found while mowing the yard

BERLIN (Reuters) – German police are investigating a man for theft after he siphoned electricity off a high-voltage overhead transmission line for one month with the help of an ordinary meat hook, authorities said on Tuesday.

The 36-year old man from Sibbesse in Lower Saxony concocted the plan to steal electricity after the power company cut him off for failure to pay his bills, police said.

The man attached a cable to the meat hook and tossed it onto an overhead power line. He then drew power from the transmission line to his home, located about 150 meters away.

"I've never seen anything like this in my 34-year-career," said Friedrich-Wilhelm Lach, chief executive of regional utility Ueberlandwerke Leinetal GmbH, told Reuters. "It's incredibly dangerous and utterly stupid."

An employee of the utility noticed the meat hook during a routine check. Lach said the man was lucky he is still alive and warned copycats not to try it: "It will kill you," he said.

HOOPER, Utah – A 17-year-old Utah boy mowing the lawn at his home in Hooper ran into a canister of TNT that may date back as far as World War II. Taylor Wood was mowing the pasture behind the family home on Sunday and heard a thud. He then saw a canister that said "TNT shell" on the side.

His mother, Charise Wood, described the canister as looking like a small can of tomato paste. She quickly called emergency crews.

Charise Wood said the family has lived in the home seven years but had never mowed that area of pasture because they had let horses eat down the grass. Now the family has goats that aren't interested in that area.

The Weber County sheriff's department took the canister for disposal.
