Watch as the driver almost makes
it to the top of a large, nearly vertical incline. Only to fail
when reaching the top, flipping all the way down the mountain.
Watch as this kid made the dumb choice of "ramping"
a hill a snow plow made. He ended up in a lot of pain but nothing
serious. So enjoy watching the blunder. Nothing was broken just
a sprained hip and a black and blue butt.
Remember it is not the size of the hill, or the speed of the
sled that you have to worry about. It is what is at the bottom
of the hill that you have to watch out for.
Showing off his guns and abs and glaring at the camera, Tiger
Woods looks nothing like the good guy of the greens in this Annie
Leibovitz photo on the cover of Vanity Fair.
The menacing shot - never before seen - was taken in January 2006,
long before the world learned the married father of two cheated
on his wife with a harem of hotties.
"Tiger is an intensely competitive athlete - and quite serious
about his sport," Leibovitz said. "I wanted to reveal
that in these photos. And to show his incredible focus and dedication."
Buzz Bissinger, who interviewed some of the scribes who covered
Woods for years, recounts how the golfer embarrassed himself in
an interview with Charles Pierce of GQ in 1997 - when he was a
mere 21.
Woods joked about lesbian sex and the endowments of black athletes
- the kind of gaffe he never repeated once he signed with super-agent
Mark Steinberg.
Tigers Wife
Elin Nordegren
Elin Nordegren - Woods' scorned spouse - has been celebrating
her 30th birthday in the French Alps.
Although it has been widely reported that their marriage is on
the rocks, new photos purportedly showing the Swedish siren wearing
her wedding band sowed more confusion in the ever-evolving Tiger
tale.
The problem is that Nordegren has an identical twin. She, too,
wears a wedding ring. It could not be determined which sister
was photographed with the bling.
Woods has been lying low since the scandal broke Thanksgiving
weekend.
Officials say an alligator bit off part of a golfer's arm as
he leaned over to pick up his ball at a private South Carolina
course.
The man, who is in his 70s, was retrieving his ball from a pond
when the 10-foot alligator bit him at Ocean Creek Golf Course
in Beaufort County. The gator pulled the golfer into the pond
and ripped off his arm in the struggle. His golf partners were
able to free him.
Wildlife workers killed the alligator and retrieved the arm in
the hopes it might be reattached. But did not find the lost ball.
The man has not been identified. He was being treated at the Medical
University of South Carolina, but officials there would not release
any information about him.
Dozens of Christmas trees in Arlington, Wash., not
only were recycled, they became a meal for goats to munch on.
KING-TV in Seattle says the trees were taken to the New Moon Farm
Goat Rescue and Sanctuary, where the evergreens were fed to about
38 goats.
Sanctuary owner Ellen Felsenthal says people like the idea of
turning trees into goat food. She says she's looking for good
families to adopt the rescued goats.
