Tonya suffered a severe injury to her bladder, abdomen and internal organs. She has been in and out of the hospital ever since. She is bedridden and unable to do normal day to day activities. She continues to build up endurance and hopes she will one day recover from this terrible accident. She will have to undergo several surgeries over the next few years to repair the damage. She is unable to work and her family has been struggling with the ongoing medical bills and trips back and forth to St. Louis. Tonya and her husband, Steven, have a three year old daughter, Carly.
